As confirmed by director Martin Campbell, the scene was not filmed in Montenegro but was eventually filmed in the Czech Republic. Still, the movie mentions the location of Montenegro and Hotel Splendid where several scenes take place. This fact, however, hasn’t stopped fans and visitors to still travel to Montenegro, and visit the place where even virtually James Bond has been.
